Trans-Siberian Railway: The Event That Changed Everything
Without the railway, Yurga might have remained a village.
But the Trans-Siberian Railway passed nearby — and this became a turning point.
- The great road connects the country, and along with it changes the fates of cities. Yurga became part of this line — and from then on, its life was connected with rails, the station, and movement east and west.
The museum preserves a rail from that time — as a symbol of the point where a different scale began.
Next — how Yurga station appeared.
